What's the dress code?
Semi-formal / cocktail attire is requested: think suit and tie, dress shirt and slacks, or long dresses. For footwear, prioritize comfort over fashion - our venue does require a bit of walking including some small hills, and the ceremony will be in a meadow, so we highly recommend wearing shoes with minimal heels that you are comfortable walking and dancing in!
Are children welcome?
Although we love your little ones, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We are happy to help arrange for a babysitter on or offsite for the night of the wedding so parents can attend. Children are welcome to join for the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding!
Am I allowed to bring a +1?
While we would love to offer plus ones to all our guests, the venue we chose has capacity constraints and we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the wedding invitation.
What's the weather going to be like?
During the day, it will likely be sunny with highs ranging from 70ºC - 80ºC. At night the temperatures will drop to 50ºC - 60ºC. Rain is rare in Santa Cruz in June so fingers crossed!
Where should I park?
When arriving to Waterfall Lodge for the wedding, please park at St Peter & Paul Orthodox church in Ben Lomond. We will have shuttle service from the parking lot to the venue from 2:50 PM - 3:30 PM before the ceremony and after the wedding to return you to your vehicle.

NOTE - if you are staying in a cabin onsite, you are allowed to drive your car into the venue and park at your cabin, so no need to use the shuttle service.
Which hotels do you recommend to stay in?
We have room blocks at two nearby hotels - the Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos and the Best Western Inn in Scotts Valley. They are both a ~30 minute drive to the wedding venue and differ in price, quality, and location, so please check the lodging tab of the website for more information and for booking links. You are also welcome to book your own hotel or AirBnB!

On the night of the wedding, our venue has 32 upscale A-frame cabins available to reserve onsite in case you'd prefer not to drive after the wedding. Additional information can be found in the lodging tab, but please note, these can only be reserved for Saturday night (not the whole weekend!)
